Am 24.11.2001 kam Melanie Thornton durch einen Flugzeugabsturz in der Nähe von Zürich ums Leben.

Da Weihnachten immer an dieses Lied erinnert, möchte ich an dieser Stelle aller Menschen wie Melanie gedenken, die den Mut und die Kraft aufbringen (wollten), in dieser Welt etwas zu ändern.
